I am writing to report a quality issue with a recently purchased part
from Rock Auto (U.S.) and request a catalog correction:

Part Number: MAHLE/CLEVITE B33646
Description: Engine Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Solenoid Gasket/OCV
Control Valve Seal
EAN/UPC: 639789303363
Application: Mazda 6
Issue:
The replacement seal (B33646) has an incorrect inner diameter – it is
significantly oversized. When comparing it to the original seal
removed from the vehicle, the original seal fits completely inside the
new seal, indicating a substantial diameter mismatch. The new seal
does not fit properly in the engine application.
Catalog Correction Request:
Based on this fitment issue, please update your catalog to remove
“Mazda 6” from the application list for part B33646. The current
catalog shows compatibility with “Mazda 3, 3 Sport, 6, CX-3, CX-30,
CX-5, CX-9, MX-5, 2.0L, 2.5L” but the Mazda 6 application appears to
be incorrect.
Request:
- Please investigate this quality control issue and provide the
correct part number for Mazda 6 - Update your catalog/database to remove Mazda 6 from B33646
applications to prevent future misapplication
